Hedera22: Keyring Controller for Hedera Wins hashport’s Browser Extension Challenge
The Hedera22 Hackathon has officially concluded. With 2,500 participants and 116 projects submitted, this year’s Hackathon was by far Hedera’s most successful hackathon to date.
hashport is a sponsor of Hedera22 and the host of this year’s Browser Extension Challenge. For this challenge, we instructed participants to build a robust client-side, browser extension that enables the creation of decentralized applications on Hedera. This extension should have similar access control isolation as MetaMask and fill the need for injection functionality similar to popular wallets such as Klaytn’s Kaist and Parity’s Polkadot.js.
The judges received submissions and they judged on four criteria:
• Challenge Fit;
• Innovative Vision;
• Market Potential;
• Technical Execution.
