We’re back and better!
The hashport app is back online! Early on at launch, we observed a small set of transactions that were not finalised in the queue. As user experience of the platform is of utmost importance, hashport was taken offline to ensure the integrity of the transaction process.
At no point were user funds ever in jeopardy of becoming unrecoverable. Subsequent testing has been conducted on the Hedera mainnet over the past week to ensure that the community receives a great user experience every time.
Now that hashport is up and running, we would like to share with you some additional details on the intermittent issue that we encountered and how we proactively handled the matter.
One of the root causes of the issue was that transactions submitted to the Hedera nodes were not being accepted in a timely manner resulting in transactions being expired after a given time.
One of the issues found with the Hedera SDK on Thursday, had an update that was issued the next day that enabled TransferTransaction to serialize the transfers list deterministically. Find more details on GitHub — https://github.com/hashgraph/hedera-sdk-go/issues/314
Validators were experiencing trouble submitting transactions to the Hedera network. The issues were found by the hashport team and were communicated with the Hedera Core and SDK teams and were subsequently resolved.
